Open Water Swim Clinic – Franschhoek

Join me on the 26th of March 2023, for an open water training clinic at La Roche Estate in Franschhoek. In this 5 hour workshop, I’ll be teaching my fundamental open water techniques for you to elevate your swimming skills while getting a training swim in.

My open water experience comes from competing for South Africa for the last 11 years where I’ve been 17x National Open Water Champion, crossed the English Channel in the fastest South African female time, competed at the last two Olympic Games, won the Junior World Championships, won 3 Midmar Miles and currently hold the fastest female time for Robben Island in a wetsuit.

On the day, we’ll be covering drafting, sighting, going around swim buoys and the best stroke for open water swimming. The days program will run as follows:

1. Open Water Techniques and Training

2. A 1.6km Training Swim Recorded and Timed

2. Core and Mobility Workouts

3. Shoulder Rehab and Recovery

4. Ended of with a Q&A, light lunch and social
