Creamy Mushroom Pasta Recipe: one of my favorites

Making its way all the way from Italy, pasta has stood the test of time for centuries and proven to be a delicious dish we can’t resist. And when it comes to comfort food, nothing will cure you like a plate of creamy pasta.

A pasta note: most people make the mistake of draining their pasta, rinsing it under cold water and not adding nearly enough salt. Your pasta water should taste like the sea. Instead of only adding a pinch of salt, add a tablespoon so your plate of comfort actually tastes like something.

Ingredients

250g Spaghetti

1 tbs Salt

400g Mushrooms

250ml Full Cream

1 tsp Beef Stock Powder

1 tbs Butter

1 tbs Olive Oil

Parmesan to serve

Step 1: In a large pot, cook spaghetti in salted water according to packaging directions.

Step 2: In a large skillet, cook mushrooms in butter and olive on a medium heat.

Step 3: Add full cream and beef stock and stir. Allow to cook for approximately 10 minutes on a lower heat.

Step 4: Toss spaghetti to the mushroom sauce and stir continuously. Add parmesan and serve.
